Rajasthan State and Subordinate Combined Compeitive Exam


Rajasthan Public Service Commission anually conducts a state level exam for different grade 'A' and 'B' posts in Rajasthan. The exam is conducted in Three rounds, Which are Prelims, Mains and Interview. Eligibility : -Prescribed by the Rajasthan Public Services Commission. Individuals must meet a variety of eligibility requirements Prescribed by the commission.

The eligibility will be based on the candidate's Age, Nationality and Qualification.

Eligibility :

  • Age Criteria : (Candidate should be) 21 Years to 40 Years (Last)
  • Educational Qualification: A Graduate Degree (In Any stream)
  • Nationality : Indian (Only)
  • Number of Attempts : Countless (Until the Max. Age)

Exam Pattern :

  • In this examination age relaxation is given according to the category:-
  • Male Candidates (SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS) : 5 Years.
  • Female Candidates (General Category) : 5 Years.
  • Female Candidates (SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS) : 10 Years.

  • The Preliminary round for RPSC's Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Exam Comprises one paper.
  • Basically Prelims is a Pen-Paper (offline mode) based exam Consisting No: of 150 Multiple choice questions. The duration of exam is 3 hours 10 minutes and the Maximum marks are 200.
  • Exam comprises one major topic "General knowledge and General Science".

General Knowledge and General Science Subjects Such as :

  • History
  • Geography
  • Indian Polity
  • Economy
  • Ecology
  • Logical Reasoning
  • Basic Maths
  • Current Affairs etc.
  • The exam pattern follows a negative marking where 1/3 marks are deducted for every wrong answer.

The Mains round for RPSC's Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive exam comprises four Papers,

which are- :

  • General Studies – I
  • General Studies - II
  • General Studies - III
  • General Studies – IV
  • The Mains exam is conducted in an offline mode and the duration of each Paper is 3 hours, each Paper carries a Maximum of 200 Marks, Which is Making the Maximum Marks 800.
  • Generally questions will asked in three ways/types such as :- long, Medium, and short.
  • Long questions :- The word limit is 100 and the Marks Per question are 10.
  • Medium questions : The word limit is 50 and the marks Per question are 5.
  • Short questions: The word limit is 15 and the marks Per question are 2.
  • This is the last phase of RPSC's Rajasthan State and Subordinate Combined Competition exam's which is called Interview. Those who qualify Prelims and Mains rounds are eligible for Interview round.
  • The Personality/Viva-voice examination is worth a Maximum of 100 Marks.
  • This round is designed to evaluate the Personality, communication Skills and Knowledge of the Candidate.
