PM Narendra Modi’s visit to Maldives


  • Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi arrived in Maldives on 25 July 2025 for his 2-day visit.
  • Prime Minister Modi attended the 60th Independence Day celebrations of Maldives as the Chief Guest on 26 July.
  • This year, a joint commemorative postage stamp was issued to mark the completion of 60 years of establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Maldives.
  • The Indian Prime Minister also gifted a sapling to the President of Maldives under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan”.

  3. Import of Indian Pharmacopoeia by Maldives MoU on Recognition of IP
  4. MoU between Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of India and Ministry of Home Security and Technology of Maldives on Cooperation in the field of Sharing of Successful Digital Solutions Implemented at Population Level for Digital Transformation
